Mark your calendar for North Texas Giving Day — Thursday, September 20, 2018! This special day enables Dallas Bethlehem Center to strengthen our mission to create a bright and secure future for children and families through education, food security, empowerment and neighborhood development.
North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event for people in North Texas to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits like Dallas Bethlehem Center on one day. An incredible success, over nine years, the annual event has pumped more than $195 million into the North Texas community.
Communities Foundation of Texas’ tenth annual North Texas Giving Day is back on Thursday, September 20, 2018, and you can help set another record.
The advantage of donating through the online event is that your gift will be multiplied! Your dollar will go further with added bonus funds and prizes raised by Communities Foundation of Texas.

Egg hunt begins at 10:30 a.m.
Rain, rain go away, come again another day! DBC’s Eggstravaganza 2019 began and ended with downpours, but pictures tell a bright story.
Indoors, the paper flowers were blooming as neighborhood youngsters searched for brightly colored eggs the Easter bunny and many a volunteer had planted.
Add in a bounce house, slide, and hula hoops with plenty of fun food, and the result is a joyful morning filled with smiles!
UMW units from throughout the North Texas Conference led volunteer efforts with donations of stuffed Easter eggs, hot dogs and games plus their time and love.
The unwanted weather may have limited Eggstravaganza attendance but gave DBC the opportunity to share with several other South Dallas celebrations.
Our abundance of cooked food was donated to various groups sponsoring Easter events the following day. The non-perishable items give us a head start on plans for a DBC community event this summer. Watch this space for a date and time!
